Meet Shannon
Hi I’m Shannon; the founder of Full Circle Mind + Wellness.
I created this space for the people who want to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns; but may not feel that traditional therapy is the right fit for them.
Through nearly a decade of working as a licensed therapist within traditional clinical therapy, I began to notice a gap in the mental wellness space. Many of the individuals I worked with had reached a place where therapy had served its purpose, yet they still wanted thoughtful and intentional support as they navigated everyday life situations. Others were simply looking for “someone to talk to”, without holding any criteria for a mental health diagnosis.
At the time, I often found myself wishing there was a place I could refer people to who were looking for that kind of support; so I created it. Full Circle Mind + Wellness is the place that precisely bridges the gap between therapy and your best friends advice.
Through my work in mental wellness coaching, I discovered that creating this space is where my passion truly lies; offering people a thoughtful place to reflect, gain perspective, achieve confidence, and build a deeper relationship with themselves.
What I Believe
I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding.
When we take the time to notice our thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, we begin to meet ourselves more clearly. That awareness often becomes the starting point for growth; allowing us to respond to life with greater intention instead of simply reacting out of habit.
Much of the work I do with clients centers around building that awareness. Together, we slow down enough to explore what’s happening beneath the surface; the emotions we’re feeling, the thoughts shaping our experiences, and the patterns or habits that may be quietly influencing our choices.
With greater understanding comes the ability to make more thoughtful decisions, develop a healthier relationship with ourselves, and move towards our goals with greater clarity and confidence.
Professional Background
My approach to mental wellness coaching is shaped by my years of experience working in the field of clinical mental health counseling.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (NY)/ Licensed Professional Counselor (AZ), I’ve spent my career helping people better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors through the lens of mental health diagnoses. That experience now informs the way I approach mental wellness coaching; blending professional insight with the warmth and practicality of real conversation.
While my background is rooted in clinical therapy, my role within mental wellness coaching is different. Coaching sessions are not therapy sessions, and I do not provide clinical mental health treatment or diagnosis within this space. Instead, coaching focuses on thoughtful conversation, reflection, and insight as clients explore everyday life experiences and personal growth.
This perspective allows me to bring professional understanding to the coaching process while maintaining a space that is centered on guidance, awareness, and forward movement.
